ProSiebenSat.1 is one of Germany's largest television broadcasting companies, which owns four German TV channels, including the second (ProSieben) and third (SAT.1) largest in the country. Collectively, ProSiebenSat.1's four channels represent 45% of the German TV advertising market, one of the largest in the world. In August 2003, HFCP IV invested in German Media Partners, LP, an investment vehicle formed with Haim Saban and other investors, to acquire majority control of ProSiebenSat.1. HFCP IV sold its investment in ProSiebenSat.1 in March 2007.
