David R. Tunnell

Mr. Tunnell is a Managing Director of Hellman & Friedman. His primary areas of focus are the software and information services and the insurance sectors. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of GeoVera Insurance Group Holdings, Ltd. and Vertafore, Inc., and a Director of Activant Solutions, Inc., Datatel, Inc., Intergraph Corporation, Kronos Incorporated, and Sedgwick CMS. He was formerly a Director of Arch Capital Group Ltd., Blackbaud, Inc., and PARIS RE Holdings Limited.

Mr. Tunnell originally joined the Firm in 1994. Previously, he was employed by the Banking Group of Lazard Frères & Co. in New York.

Mr. Tunnell graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
