Thomas F. Steyer

Mr. Steyer is a Managing Director of Hellman & Friedman and a member of the Investment Committee. He is also Founder, Senior Managing Member and Co-Managing Partner of Farallon Capital Management, L.L.C., an investment advisory firm, where he spends the majority of his business time.

Prior to joining the Firm in 1986, Mr. Steyer was an associate in the Risk Arbitrage Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Previously, he was employed in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department of Morgan Stanley & Co.

Mr. Steyer graduated summa cum laude from Yale University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
